Shoes on your baby?

ok so he is almost 8 months old.... when do put shoes on him when we got out before he was always in the snowsuit sack thing... but hw is to big for it... so wheres a coat and hat... but should i be putting shoes on him ?? He wears socks but it is cold here... he NEVER keeps his shoes on...

Shoes on your baby?
I would get him warm booties, but not shoes. They will not fit on his feet well, and babies should not be wearing shoes until they are well established in their walking.
Reply:i would do soft shoes or slippers. nothing too tight thats gonna restrict his feet growth in any way
Reply:I%26#039;ve been putting shoes on my son since he was a month old. For warmth basically, not really needed as he isn%26#039;t walking. I have some little patagonia things that snap on the sides and he can%26#039;t get them off, and some gym shoes that he can%26#039;t get off. These are crib shoes really, not made for walking.
Reply:get him like bootie sock things that are warm, practical, and comfortable for him. if he doesnt like them....sorry
Reply:You should try %26quot;Robeez%26quot; - www.robeez.com. They make soft soled leather shoes and fleece-lined boots for newborns up to age 4 or so. They are beautiful - lovely designs for boys and girls.... and babies CANNOT pull them off.

Best shower gift I ever got - I got a few different pairs as he outgrew them. You will love them!
Reply:Soft soled shoes or slippers are best for now. Target sells a soft leather shoe under the brand Ministar by Bobux. They are really really cute AND they%26#039;re on sale this week for $10.00.
Reply:sounds like a good idea, get a pair of well-fittin shoes ( cheap ones.... becasue they grow sooooo QUICK)

something slip on is usually harder to pull off than something with velcro...
Reply:That sounds like my baby. He always takes his socks off and puts them in his mouth. I live in Alaska and my baby never wore shoes until he was 10 months. I always put those little bootie things on his feet.
Reply:put booties or slipper on him so he will not pull off his socks. he doens%26#039;t have to wear shoes until he starts to walk.
Reply:If you are worried about him being cold, just double up on socks when he is outside.
Reply:I think soft %26quot; shoes%26quot; are good for this age. They are made of soft fabric and are not %26quot; shaped%26quot; as normal shoes are. When is starting to walk, it%26#039;s a good idea to start him in shoes that have a good ankle support. Until then , they aren%26#039;t really needed. Good question!!!
