When should my baby start wearing shoes?

Well, your baby doesn%26#039;t need shoes until they are walking. Soft little shoes are okay, if you just want to make sure their feet are warm, but save the hard soles for later.

When should my baby start wearing shoes?
Delay it as long as possible, and only have her wear shoes when she is walking on a rough surface. otherwise, booties, socks, barefeet are best for foot development.
Reply:we put soft shoes on my son at about 2 weeks, the doctor saw him in shoes and never said anything. We only put them on him when we leave the house, at home he is in his pj%26#039;s with feeties. If you wanted to put some soft shoes on him I highly recommend Roobez, they are soft and made with real leather so they are very light and not bothersome to the child.
Reply:Other than for looks, babies really don%26#039;t need shoes for support until they start pulling themselves up and start to walk.
Reply:when they start walking
Reply:My doctor said kids dont need to wear shoes until they are walking, and then only if they are walking in public or outdoors.

Shoes are o.k. for special occasions like holidays and pictures. I was told that barefoot is better

Reply:I never liked to put shoes on my babies--didn%26#039;t seem natural...I wanted their little feet to grow and wiggle without restrictions! They didn%26#039;t wear shoes until they were walking...so around a year.
Reply:I believe a baby should wear shoes at any age because if they start walking they and they never wore shoes they wont want to wear them.
